On a more serious note

Notice the ridgeline runs parallel to the angled front of the house, not perpendicular to the ends.

Wadly and I walked up to our house site last weekend.  He rolled up the string I had laid out to mark the house footprint and we sat in our folding chairs and admired the view.  We spent some time talking about what we need, what we want and where we’re going.

I get new ideas when I go up there and spend time.  The available room at the top of the ridge sparked a bit of a different footprint.  I like this, Wad likes this, we can build this.  The section on the left is the future build of a full living and dining room and sun porch.  When that build is done the wall between the kitchen and living room will be romoved.  The windows will be reused in the living room.

I can have a short wall next to the refridgerator enclosing a support post for the ridgeline and a post in the wall between the front door closet and the panty or inside the back wall ofthe closet.  That will keep my ridgeline runs really short and save $.  that will make the addition of the living room ridge easy as well.
