Purple thumb and dog sympathy

Purple thumb and dog sympathy

I’ve got about half of the patio outside the sun porch laid.  About half of the bricks have been locked in with the gaps filled with sand.  I won’t work any more sand between cracks until I have the last of the bricks laid and the perimeter skirting done.  I got just enough done to stabilize the bricks where we walk.  That’s enough for now.

A word to the wise . . . when using a dead blow hammer to settle and level bricks, try and keep your thumb out of the way.  Chloe’s willing to offer sympathy, but is expecting hugs in return.  Ah, dog love.
